On March 19. 2021 an eruption started at Fagradalsfjall, Iceland (the first of many). Many earthquakes were felt before in the months before the eruption started. During night, sometimes a red glow or lava fountains could be seen on the horizon from Reykjavík. The eruption produced more than lava and smoke, it’s land remaking itself. Destruction and creation happening simultaneously and on human time scales.
