Aðgangur bannaður” (Forbidden Access) looks at the edges where industry and landscape collide. These are places you’re not supposed to enter such as fenced zones, transit areas, industrial outposts. They appear in the middle of seemingly untouchable environments. Here, piles of material wait, structures decay, and signs warn us away. The work is about contrast as much as access: the presence of industry within isolation, the unnatural within the natural, the ways infrastructure takes space in landscapes that are otherwise imagined as wild.
