Kalaallit Nunaat / Greenland is a fragmentary series made during a scientific conference and fieldwork at Kangerlussuaq. The images were not planned as a project but emerged while hiking, camping, and helping colleagues collect ice and air samples. Later, in Nuuk, I photographed whenever it felt possible. The series resists the expected image of Greenland, such as traditional life or remoteness, and instead shows what I saw.
